Initial consultation and treatment

The initial consultation is a review of the persons's life and medical history. Based on this interaction between client and acupuncturist the acupuncturist will follow a plan of treatment. As a start to treatment needles will be inserted into the back just below the skin. After the needles are removed from the back needles will be inserted into the lower arms or lower legs. This session will take at least 2 hours.

Subsequent treatments

In general it is recommended that subsequent treatments are weekly for five weeks. This is because the energy will have shifted and may need some direction to bring it back to a balanced state.
